Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The basic function of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is to assist patients with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to all patients, and assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the RN in charge of the case.
Interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, family members, significant others, client facility staff, volunteers, physician office staff, administration staff and other agency nursing personnel, supervisors, payroll, and staffing personnel.

Job Requirements
  • Current licensure from the state of assignment
  • Current BLS certification
  • Working telephone number
  • Reliable transportation/valid driver's license
  • Two (2) reliable work references
  • Favorable criminal background check
  • Satisfactory 90 day and annual evaluations
  • Negative PPD or check x-ray within 6 months of hire
  • Health Statement/Physical exam within 6 months of hire
  • Must be able to communicate in English, ability to read and write in English
  • Must be able to lift 200 pounds or more with upper body strength
  • Must be able to work in a pet friendly environment 
  • Must have experience working home health and with people with disabilities 
Education Required
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing assistant program with the minimum of 320 hours of training.
    • Successful completion of the State Certified Nursing Assistant program as required by applicable law, state, and/or federal regualtions
    • Clear and Active Florida CNA license
  • Current BLS certification upon hire and biannual renewal
Shifts Available 
  • Position requires flexibility - shifts are 7am-6pm or 3pm-10pm
