The doctor MD/DO examines, evaluates, diagnoses and treats patients with physical complications from pain, substance abuse, depression and more…... He/she prepares and reviews case histories and obtains and evaluates data through interview techniques. He/she also diagnoses psychiatric disorders and prescribes and evaluates the effectiveness of a wide range of therapeutic measures. The incumbent of this position recommends the disposition of all cases and advises on problems related to mental health and the prevention multiple disorders. This position is a part time to begin and client is willing to offer a “buy-in-for equity” for the right physician   Additional duties includes:
  • Conducting Evaluations
  • Performs physical examinations, provides preventive health services and conducts follow up appointments for patients
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients for health care needs.
  • Records physical findings, formulates plans and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
  • Documents the delivery of care in the individual's electronic medical record.
  • Discusses cases with clinical & nursing staff in order to prepare comprehensive patient care plans
  • Participates in treatment team meetings
  • Orders, schedules and/or performs laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
  • Prescribes and monitors medication

  • Assess and treat patients who suffer from illness and participate in enhancing care delivery in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Educate staff on best practices in the management of co-occurring disorders.
  • Propose, develop, and implement best practices in care delivery.
  • Propose, develop, and implement improvements in the process of care.
  • Work collaboratively with other physicians and staff to ensure the best possible  treatment for patients
Experience and Education Required:
  • Board Certified  MD or DO
  • At least 2 years within the alternative medicine field
  • Experience with co-occurring disorders
  • Doctorate from an accredited university
  • Buprenorphine license required
  • Must have acquired all required state licensures
  • Must have valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Must maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Prescribes and monitors medications
