Executive Director Services: Substance Abuse Facility Experience a must 
 
Executive Director’s skills and responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:
1. Supervision and scheduling of all clinical behavioral health employees including Clinical Director, in-house psychiatrist, counselors, social workers and any other employees while ensuring the highest level of care for all patients.
2. Ensure that facility is compliant with all regulatory agencies such as CARF, NJ Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services and JCAHO.
3. Develop policies and procedures when necessary, establish facility protocols and liaise with Clinical Director to ensure continuous improvement of programs.
4. Create and evaluate company reports, including but not limited to company revenue, insurance reimbursements, length of stay, marketing results and performance of program tracks.
5. Liaise with JCAHO consultant to prepare for and achieve accreditation.
6. Oversee post recovery services in coordination with clinical director and case managers.
7. Facilitate weekly leadership meetings to ensure company camaraderie.
8. Liaise with State Licensing Board during inspections to ensure continuity of licensing.
9. Regular communication with the biller to ensure correct census while tracking billable services to ensure proper remuneration by the insurance company for all billable services and past due payments.
10. Track and manage all deductible and co-insurance payments required by clients.
11. Manage internship program as well as proper supervision of interns, junior counseling staff, and techs.
12. Oversee day to day operational integrity of the physical facility.
13. Manage insurance company audits, providing the appropriate documentation and information to ensure continued good standing with Health Insurance providers.
14. Chart audits and reviews in coordination with Clinical Director
State requirements for ED title are either Masters Degree and 2 years experience in the field in a similar setting OR Bachelors degree and 5 years experience in this field in a similar setting.
Our preference is someone with a minimum of 5 years experience. Personable and proficient. LCADC or LCSW licensure is preferable, but not necessary if there is enough experience in running a facility in this scope.
