Our client is currently seeking a Clinical Director to assist in the opening of a 50 bed Detox Center. The Clinical Director will be responsible for creating and implementing a solid program and foundation for this facility. The Clinical Director will be responsible for providing supervision, direction and feedback to all therapists that oversees the therapeutic care of clients and will be responsible for performance improvement activities. The Clinical Director will participate in activities during and in preparation for all accreditation, licensing, or other surveys.

• Develops implements, supervises and evaluated all therapeutic components of the program for assigned patient populations, and the facilities
• Supervises clinical staff
• Ensure that all State and Federal Regulations, including joint commission accreditation standards are maintained at all times
• Generate reports to evaluate overall clinic performance
• Maintains compliance with national accreditation and governmental regulations
• Responsible for overall clinical performance and quality outcomes management, including client satisfaction with clinic and clinic services
• Development and implantation of all clinic policies and procedures including public affairs and community relations
• Integration of staff services as described in clinic protocol/operations manual
• Managing and monitoring productivity standards and providing training and supervision of all staff

Education and Experience Required: 

• Minimum of 3 years in a managerial position in behavioral health or related field
• Master’s in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited college or university
• Experience operating within a set budget
• Direct clinical experience working with narcotic addicted patients with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of substance abuse treatment, preferred
• Must have one of the following licenses: LMHC, LCSW, LCPC or Psy.D.
