Located in the heart of Atlanta, hospital is a community-based, acute care teaching facility with more than 1,000 physicians spanning 28 specialties. Since 1908, the hospital has served Atlanta residents and patients from all over the Southeast. Today, the hospital is recognized nationally for its work in cardiology and heart-related diseases, as well as reconstructive surgery, maternal and infant care, orthopedics and gastrointestinal diseases. Hospital Has 529 beds, including 86 ICU beds, a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and four hyperbaric oxygen units.
Position Summary:
Plans, coordinates and directs the daily operations of a specific section/division. Supervises clinical staff and facilitates communication with physicians and internal administrators to provide optimal patient and family-centered care. Is recognized as a change agent and routinely leads efforts to strengthen organizational systems that support the mission, vision, and values of the department. Adept at creative problem-solving, negotiating conflict, and collaborating with others. Demonstrates insight, judgment, and clinically sound risk-taking.
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Five years of experience as an RN with one (1) year of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
  • BLS, ACLS, and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
